Making 'Good' Happen

Toni's passion is Goodwill San Diego's mission to provide training and employment opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. She has spent more than 18 years with Goodwill San Diego, creating a culture of inclusivity and civility, where people can experience personal and professional growth in a nurturing environment.

Toni believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the dignity of work. She has developed a strong leadership team at Goodwill to support the mission and expansion of their social enterprise, enabling them to provide paid work experience to over 1300 San Diego County residents. She continues to communicate, design and implement her vision, which provides a career path for every employee and in-depth career counseling for every job seeker who visits a Goodwill Community Employment Center.

Toni is an outdoor enthusiast who loves the mountains, hiking, gardening and the beauty of nature. She is married and has 7 children, including two son-in-laws and one daughter-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.

Toni is a lifelong learner, studying Humanities, Art, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development and Human Resources. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Bellevue University and a Certificate of Completion from Goodwill Industries International's Executive Development Program, a 16-month program that prepares Goodwill leaders to become Chief Executive Officers
